Mixing Things Together

Some things are hard like rocks and some things are soft like cotton balls.

Play dough is soft and squishy. You can shape it into anything!

Some things are smooth, some are rough. Touch different objects and feel the difference!

Water can be a solid (ice), a liquid (water), or a gas (steam). Amazing!

Glue starts as a liquid and dries into a solid that holds things together.

Glass is smooth and see-through. You can look through a window!

When you stir sugar into water, the sugar seems to disappear! It dissolves.

Oil and water do not mix. Pour some oil in water and watch what happens!

Chocolate melts in your hand because your body is warm.

A magnet sticks to some metal things but not to wood or plastic.
