The Earth has seven big land areas called continents. They are Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America. The Earth also has five large bodies of water called oceans. They are the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian, Southern, and Arctic Oceans. Knowing continents and oceans helps us understand our world better.
