How School Government Works

School government is the way students and teachers work together to make decisions about school activities and rules. Just like our country has a government, schools have a group of students, often called a student council, that represents the student body.

These students help plan events, share ideas with teachers, and ensure that everyone’s voice is heard. Learning how school government works helps us understand the importance of teamwork and leadership.
