Colonial New England: Puritans and Community

In Colonial New England, the Puritans created tight-knit communities based on their religious beliefs. They wanted to live according to their values and often held meetings in town to make important decisions together.

Life was centered around the church, and families worked together to farm, fish, and trade. The Puritans believed that hard work and cooperation were essential for a successful community.
