The French and Indian War

The French and Indian War was a conflict that took place between 1754 and 1763, involving the British colonists and the French, along with their Native American allies. This war was primarily fought over land and resources in North America.

The British wanted to expand their territory, while the French aimed to protect their own land. The war ended with the British claiming victory, but it also set the stage for future conflicts between the colonists and the British government.
