Art and Culture: Expressing Identity

Art plays an important role in expressing identity, as it allows individuals to showcase their backgrounds and experiences. When people create art, they often draw inspiration from their culture, including its history, traditions, and values.

For instance, African masks are often used in ceremonies and tell stories about ancestry and spiritual beliefs. By engaging with art, we can learn about the diverse identities that exist in our world.
