Lewis and Clark: Exploring the West

Lewis and Clark embarked on a monumental journey to explore the newly acquired Louisiana Territory in 1804. Commissioned by President Jefferson, their expedition aimed to map the land, establish trade relations with Native tribes, and study the region's flora and fauna.

Over two years, they faced numerous challenges, including rugged terrain and unpredictable weather, while also documenting their discoveries. Their journey provided valuable insights into the vastness of the American West and paved the way for future exploration.
