A coloring page nobody marks — so this one marks itself
A coloring sheet is quiet time, and that is most of its value. But a child can finish twenty of them without ever being asked anything. Here the question is the mechanic: each region of the picture carries a clue, the crayons are labeled with answers instead of color names, and the only way to open a region is to work its clue out. Six colors can key eighteen regions, so eighteen parts of one picture are eighteen different problems.
A wrong tap is where the teaching happens. Nothing buzzes and the question stays open — the page draws the method instead: dots to count on from, a grid of rows for 6 × 7, a bar shaded to show what two fifths means, a clock with its short hand named. Then the child tries again, and the region they wanted opens.
Because the clues are generated, the same picture is a new puzzle every time, and the level sets what is being practiced — dot patterns and shape matching for Pre-K with nothing to read, counting and first sounds at Kindergarten, number facts and time and money through Grade 2, and times tables, fractions, perimeter, decimals and order of operations up to Grade 5. Finish a picture and it lists every fact answered, flags the ones that needed a hint, and adds them to a log you can bring to a parent-teacher conference.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the LittleActivity Color Book?
It is a coloring book that teaches while a child colors. Pick any of 991 pictures and every part of it carries a question — an addition fact, an analog clock, a coin total, a first letter sound. Answer it and that part fills with color; get it wrong and the page shows you how, using dots you can count or rows you can see. There is also a plain Free Color mode with brushes, stickers and undo, and a printable mode that generates a real color-by-number sheet with its key.
Is the Color Book free?
Yes — everything on the page is free with no signup: coloring online, the generated lessons, and the printable PDFs. Nothing is held back behind an account.
What ages and skills does it cover?
Pre-K through Grade 5. Pre-K needs no reading at all — the clues are dot patterns and shapes to match. Kindergarten counts and hears first sounds. Grades 1 and 2 practice addition and subtraction facts, teen numbers, missing numbers, telling the time and counting coins. Grades 3 to 5 cover times tables, division, fractions of a group, rounding, perimeter, area, decimals, equivalent fractions, percent and order of operations. You can let it rotate through the skills or pin the one you want practiced.
Are the puzzles the same every time?
No. The questions are generated over the picture, so the same picture gives a different puzzle each time you open it — and the same color can be keyed to a different question in every region, so eighteen regions are eighteen problems in six colors.
Does it show what my child actually learned?
Yes. Finishing a picture lists every fact answered, marks which ones were right first time, and names the skill the page practiced. A running log on the page keeps the totals, the accuracy, and the short list of facts that still need help. It is stored on your own device and is never sent anywhere.
Can I print the color-by-number pages?
Yes. The printable mode measures each picture, generates a key for the grade you chose, and downloads a PDF with the clues on the picture and the key printed down the side of the same sheet — so nobody has to flip pages to color one region.
