How to find half of 38
- 1Half means splitting 38 into 2 equal groups, so work out 38 ÷ 2.
- 2Split 38 into its tens and its ones: 30 and 8.
- 3Halve each part on its own — half of 30 is 15, and half of 8 is 4.
- 4Add the two halves back together: 15 + 4 = 19.
