Picturing with All Five Senses

Imagine what you would hear, smell, taste, and feel, not just see.

Visualizing isn't only about seeing. You can imagine with all five senses: sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch. Authors often use words for each one. Read: 'The kitchen smelled of warm bread. Butter sizzled in the pan.
