Keeping a List of Books You Read

Make a simple list of the books you read and how you liked them.

A reading list is a simple way to remember the books you have read. You can draw a chart with three columns: the title, the date you finished, and a face showing how much you liked it, a big smile, a small smile, or a frown.

Over time, your list shows what kinds of books you like most. Maybe you notice lots of smiles next to animal books. That tells you what to look for next time. It also feels great to see your list grow longer and longer as you read more.

• 1Write the title, the date, and how you liked it.
• 2Your list shows what kinds of books you enjoy.
• 3Watching it grow feels great.
