Finding a Favorite Author

Look for more books by an author you enjoy.

If you love a book, look at the author's name on the cover. Chances are you will like other books by that same author, because authors often write in a style they enjoy, with similar kinds of characters or jokes.

You can find more books by the same author at the library. Fiction books are often shelved by the author's last name, so all of one author's books sit together. For example, if you loved a funny book by an author named R.

Lane, look on the shelf marked 'L' for more of her books.
