Story Brief #11

Long ago people could not talk to someone far away.

🎯 Your mission

Read like a detective — what's really happening?

⚡ The twist

What a character does says more than what they say.

📖 1 of 3

Long ago people could not talk to someone far away. They had to send letters. Letters took a long time. A man named Alexander Graham Bell had an idea. He wanted to send voices through wires. He worked for many years. He tried again and again.

📖 2 of 3

In 1876 he made the first telephone. When you spoke into it, your voice traveled through a wire. The other person could hear you. It was amazing. Soon many people had telephones. Today we have phones with no wires at all.

📖 3 of 3

We can talk to people anywhere. We can even see them on a screen. It all started with one idea.

You did it!
