The Desert Trip

We went on a trip to the desert with our family. The desert was very different from our home. It was hot in the day. We wore hats and put on sunscreen. We drank lots of water. We did not waste water. At night it got cold. We wore jackets. We saw a tall cactus. It had arms that reached up. We saw a small lizard. It ran across the sand. We saw birds and rabbits. We learned that many animals live in the desert. They find ways to stay cool. We stayed for two days. We had a great time. We want to go back and learn more.
