The water cycle is the journey water takes as it moves around our planet. It starts when the sun heats up water in rivers and lakes, turning it into vapor, which rises into the air. This vapor cools down and forms clouds. When the clouds get heavy, they release water as rain, which falls back to the ground, into rivers and lakes. This process keeps repeating, helping plants grow and providing us with fresh water!
