They pulled weeds and watered the plants. The neighbor was so grateful. She told them they had made a difference. Lily felt proud. She had never thought a small club could do so much. Perhaps they would keep the club going all year. They made a list of more ideas. They wanted to help animals too. Maybe they could collect old towels for the animal shelter. The kindness club was becoming an adventure. Every week they discovered something new to do.
