Adding fractions with the same denominator is simple! The denominator is the bottom number of the fraction, and when the denominators are the same, you just add the top numbers, called numerators. For example, if you have 1/4 and 2/4, you add the numerators: 1 + 2 = 3. So, 1/4 + 2/4 equals 3/4. The denominator stays the same, so the answer is 3/4. Remember, only add the top numbers when the bottom numbers are the same!
