The volume of a rectangular prism tells us how much space is inside the shape. To find the volume, you multiply the length, width, and height of the prism. For example, if you have a box that is 4 units long, 3 units wide, and 2 units high, you would calculate the volume by doing 4 ร— 3 ร— 2. This means the volume is 24 cubic units! You can think of cubic units as little cubes that fit inside the prism. So, the volume helps us understand how much can fit inside a box or container.
