We had to invent something for science class. I was determined to think of a good idea. The challenge was to make it work. I had a responsibility to complete the project. I built a device to hold my phone on my bike. I learned to appreciate how inventors think. The project had a positive influence on my creativity. It became a tradition to do a design project each year. Our community was the class. We had achieved many clever inventions. I had discovered that I could build things. I would never forget the day I tested it. The invention had taught me about problem-solving. I was grateful for the challenge.
