📖 1 of 2

Forces and motion are closely related concepts that help us understand how objects move. A force is a push or pull acting on an object, while motion is the change in an object's position over time. When a force is applied, it can cause an object to start moving, stop moving, or change direction. For example, when you kick a soccer ball, your foot applies a force to the ball, making it roll across the field. The speed and distance the ball travels depend on the amount of force you used.

📖 2 of 2

Newton's laws of motion explain how forces affect movement. The first law states that an object at rest stays at rest until a force acts on it, and an object in motion continues moving at the same speed and direction unless acted upon by a force. Understanding these concepts helps us predict how objects will behave in our everyday lives.
