Plants need sunlight, water, carbon dioxide, and nutrients from soil to grow. Their roots absorb water and minerals while their leaves capture sunlight for photosynthesis.

- Never look directly at the Sun or into a laser, even briefly.
- Mop up spills straight away so nobody slips, and keep liquids away from sockets.
Steps
Look at the vocabulary words and write a definition for each in your own words.
Design a controlled experiment: grow plants under different light conditions (full sun, partial shade, no light). Water equally and measure growth daily for one week.
Observe what happens and describe it in detail.
