This Little Piggy

1. Take off one sock. Look at your foot.
2. How many toes?
3. FIVE! And they all look completely different!
4. They do. So let's give each one a job.
5. This little piggy is the biggest of the bunch,
6. Leads the whole parade and eats the biggest lunch.
7. Broad and strong and standing at the front —
8. That's the first one. That's number one.
9. This little piggy — and this one, and this one!
10. Five little piggies and we'll count them one by one!
11. Wiggle 'em, tickle 'em, count 'em down the row,
12. This little piggy says: here we go!
13. This little piggy is the second in the line,
14. Quieter than the first one but she's doing just fine.
15. This little piggy is the third in the middle,
16. Right in the centre like the middle of a riddle!
17. This little piggy — and this one, and this one!
18. First and second, third one — see how it's done!
19. Wiggle 'em, tickle 'em, count 'em down the row,
20. This little piggy says: watch me go!
21. Touch your big toe. Say first.
22. Touch the next one. Say second.
23. Wait — is second the same as two?
24. Ooh, good question. Nearly!
25. "Two" tells you how many. "Second" tells you which one in the line.
26. Two toes. But the second toe. Different jobs for different words.
27. This little piggy is the fourth on the end,
28. Small and a bit crooked and the smallest one's friend.
29. This little piggy is the fifth and the least —
30. Tiniest piggy at the tail of the feast!
31. (squeaking) Wheeee! All the way home!
32. First! CHOIR: oink!
33. Second! CHOIR: oink!
34. Third! CHOIR: oink!
35. Fourth! CHOIR: oink!
36. Fifth! BO: WHEEEEE!
37. Now. Take off the other sock.
38. How many toes on that foot?
39. Five. The same. Isn't that neat?
40. And five and five together makes…
41. Ten. You have ten piggies. A whole herd.
42. Wiggle your toes! All ten of them! Go!
43. Now just the big ones. Just two! Wiggle-wiggle!
44. Now stand on your tiptoes — all ten piggies working!
45. Count five tiptoe bounces! One! Two! Three! Four! Five!
46. Now scrunch your toes up tight. Then let go. Ahhh.
47. How many toes on one foot?
48. ADA: Five.
49. How many on both feet?
50. ADA: Ten. Five and five.
51. Which toe is the third one along?
52. ADA: The middle one. First, second, third — right in the centre.
53. This little piggy — and this one, and this one!
54. Ten little piggies and we counted every one!
55. Wiggle 'em, tickle 'em, count 'em down the row,
56. Ten little piggies — and away we go!
57. Socks on. Ten piggies safely inside.
58. They're going somewhere. I can feel them wriggling.
59. Then follow them. Ten toes always know the way.
