How to find half of 26
- 1Half means splitting 26 into 2 equal groups, so work out 26 ÷ 2.
- 2Split 26 into its tens and its ones: 20 and 6.
- 3Halve each part on its own — half of 20 is 10, and half of 6 is 3.
- 4Add the two halves back together: 10 + 3 = 13.
Check it: put the two halves back together and you get 13 + 13 = 26.
