Frequently asked questions

What is Life Skills World?
A free game where children work a shift at a real job instead of reading about it. Each shift is the actual core decision of that career — sorting patients as a paramedic, scrubbing in as a surgical nurse, running a queue as a pharmacist.
What age is it for?
Roughly ages 7–16. Every career sets its own level of play, and the same shift runs untimed with visible hints for younger children and timed without them for older ones.
Does it cost anything or need an account?
No. It is free, there is no sign-up, and the collection of career cards is stored in your own browser rather than on our servers.
How does it teach a career path?
Every career card carries the honest route in: what you start with at school, what training it needs, how long it takes, and the actual first job title — not the dream one.
